New Orleans has undoubtedly contributed to the industry as the New Orleans music culture has begun to regain popularity. Artists like Birdman, Master P, Lil Wayne, and others have worked hard to make N.O. a household name. Rob49, Blaq N Mild, Curren$y, and many other artists have stepped forward and played a significant role in the evolution of New Orleans as we know it today. With what pre-Katrina New Orleanians refer to as the "G-Nike" or Air Force 1 Lows, Nike will pay homage to the New Orleans music culture (Uptowns).​

Patta and Nike linked up late last year to release 4 colorways of Nike Air Max 1, before joining forces again to release their white colorway.

​The joint footwear have a distinctive wavy leather overlay over cream-colored Air bubble midsoles. They are made of a combination of white leathers and blue-tinted grey mesh. The tongue tabs have "Patta Air Max" branding, while the insoles are purposefully unadorned. Nike Air logos on the heel and white waffle outsoles complete the look.

Diesel by Glenn Martens is hot right now, and its all-new Prototype Sneakers are a must-have for any Y2K-obsessed fashionphile. 

While the pair was first released in the "White/Red/Navy" colorway at the end of 2021, Diesel is now offering the massive early-2000s-inspired style in a variety of additional colors. For example, possibilities now include everything from white and black to brighter tones of orange, teal, and blue, with the gray iteration separated by yellow accents standing out.

Reggie Ward, a 41-year-old single father, Emergency Management Training Specialist, and self-proclaimed sneakerhead, is featured in the latest episode, which takes viewers to Lafayette, Louisiana.
