A London programmer named Hamza Sood has found evidence of support for fingerprint recognition through the home button in the latest version (V4) of the iOS 7 beta released yesterday to developers. Sood found a BiometricKitUI folder within the AccessibilityBundles in the Library directory of the new OS that contains the code in the above image.
Sood told 9to5Mac that the text in the <string> tags in the image “are what an iPhone with VoiceOver on would read to a user.” 9to5Mac also reported that another source told them that “the user-interface for the fingerprint scanning system has been complete.” If this is to be believed, then these text strings describe the images in an on-screen tutorial instructing users how to touch the home button on an iPhone to scan their fingerprint to unlock the phone. At least eight people -- four of them critically -- were injured afterseveral large propane tanks exploded late Monday night at a gas plant in Tavares, Fla., sending "humongous" flames and smoke into the sky, according to officials.
The tanks at the Blue Rhino gas plant, which is approximately 40 miles northwest of Orlando, began exploding around 11 p.m. Monday. Authorities initially reported that 15 people were unaccounted for, but later said that they were found, according to Lake County Sheriff's Office Lt. John Herrell, who addressed reporters in an early morning news conference. Johnny Depp says his retirement from acting may come sooner than expected. "Are there quieter things that I wouldn't mind doing? Yeah, I wouldn't mind that," Depp told the BBC in a new interview. "I wouldn't say that I'm dropping out any second, but I would say that's probably not too far away." Depp, who recently appeared as Tonto in The Lone Ranger, says his hectic acting schedule has started to overpower his normal life. "At a certain point, you start thinking, and when you add up the amount of dialogue that you say per year, for example, you realize that you've said written words more than you've actually had a chance to say your own words," he says. "You start thinking about that as a kind of insane option for a human being." Who's the most underrated? That's a crazy question, I'm going to have to think about that. Right now, the first one that comes to my mind is Eazy-E. Eric Wright. Eric Wright is the pioneer of West Coast hip-hop. West Coast rap. Gangsta rap. Period. He's underrated. We all understand what his demise was and everything and that might have created some sort of hindrance of him getting the recognition that he deserves but Eazy-E is responsible for the whole section of West Coast hip-hop right now. New York Yankees' star Alex Rodriguez has reportedly linked with longtime friend Jay Z's business associate and an attorney for Beyoncé Knowles-Carter to get his struggling career in place. As the circus surrounding the ailing $275 million third baseman's return to the lineup and a looming Major League Baseball suspension play out, associates of the entertainment mogul-turned-sports agent have been helping Rodriguez out behind the scenes. Maybach Music Group leader Rick Ross is not letting the death of Trayvon Martin go in vain and has contributed to debates over Florida's controversial Stand Your Ground law on his new "I Wonder Why" track. On the new record, Ricky Rozay leaves little to the imaginationabout what his main agenda is.
