Maybach Music Group leader Rick Ross has shared his thoughts on the publicized friction between Young Money boss Lil Wayne and Cash Money head Birdman.
In Ricky Rozay’s perspective, Baby has not treated Weezy with respect as a Cash Money artist. “Weezy’s my homie. I was just with Weezy the other night at the club — I don’t have one with Birdman,” Ross said when asked if he still has a relationship with the Cash Money CEO. “If you read The Source Magazine you would see right now, and really me seeing Wayne going through as an artist, him being a boss, me idolizing Birdman at a time, looking up to Lil Wayne being the first artist to make so many feats. Not just as an artist but as an artist coming from the South. That’s something that I took personal. So for me to see the way things are transpiring, I can’t respect that and I don’t respect that.” (“The Breakfast Club”)

This Friday is insanely packed with new releases. On top of Rick Ross, Curren$y, Pimp C, KiD CuDi, Sheek Louch, and Twista, G-Eazy will also be dropping his new album, When It's Dark Out.
So far, we've heard "Random," Me, Myself & I," "Order More," "You Got Me," and "Drifting" with Chris Brown and Tory Lanez. And now, the Bay Area native links up with Big Sean for "One Of Them." Check it out below and, if you like what you hear, pre-order When It's Dark Out on iTunes. A cut from Rick Ross' forthcoming album, Black Market, was leaked this week. On the song, "Color Money," the Maybach Music Group boss references lines from Drake's Meek Mill diss track "Back to Back." "My lil homie made a million on his girl tour / We back to back and down to whack a nigga unborn / Miami niggas got them changing all the gun laws / So run Forrest got some shooters and they dying too / I got more money than that pussy that you’re signed to," Rozay raps. Drake is signed to Lil Wayne's Young Money Entertainment. On his "Back to Back" track, Drake calls out Meek Mill for performing as the opening act on Nicki Minaj's "Pinkprint Tour." "You love her, then you gotta give the world to her / Is that a world tour or your girl's tour? / I know you gotta be a thug for her / This ain't what she meant when she told you to open up more," Drake raps. Ross is also mocking Drake's line in "0-100" that references Forrest Gump. At the end of the song, Rozay disses Puff Daddy. "Double M, we balling way harder than Puff and them / It ain't no love lost, I only see one boss," he raps. Diddy co-executive produced Rick Ross' Mastermind album, which was released last year.
