Imagine you’re out in the world and you get a hankering to buy a game. It happens. In today’s practically neolithic society, you’re forced to remember what it is you wanted to buy, wait until you get home, turn the console on, wait for it to boot up, then buy the game. And that’s assuming you want a digital copy – we won’t even bring Gamestop into the picture. Well, those days are about to change. Sony SNE -0.99% President of Worldwide Studios Shuhei Yoshida revealed a cool new Playstation 4 feature via Twitter today. Apparently, if you buy a game on your smartphone, your PS4 will wake up to download it, then go back to sleep afterwards. By the time you get back, it’s ready to play.

R. Kelly's track record speaks for itself, but as a friendly reminder, he released a new song called "My Story" a few weeks ago. Today he returns with an accompanying treatment. "This is my story, I made it from that Chi-Town dirt," chants the crooner on the chorus. Kells builds on this concept in the visual by taking viewers on a tour of in the city that raised him. He opted to do this with a smooth montage of footage showing his daily interactions at the studio, clubs, gym, and more. Featured artist 2 Chainz doesn't appear in the shots, but his verse remains in tact. R. Kelly is currently prepping his 12th studio album Black Panties. Expect "My Story" and more to appear on the track list. Watch the video below and give us your thoughts in the comments. Sitting down with the good folks at RevoltTV, Timbaland reveals that on top of working with Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z on their albums, he’s also working on an official Michael Jackson project. Presented with the oppurtunity by L.A. Reid, the Virginia Beach beatsmith jumped at the oppurtunity. Not many details were let loose, but if things go as he plans, the first single will be a song called “Chicago.”
On top of their Fall lookbook, Rocksmith and Curren$y also collaborated with G-PEN on an exclusive limited-edition personal vaporizer. I’ve got one to giveaway to one lucky dopeboy/girl and all you’ve gotta do for a chance to win is enter your email below. I’ll pick and announce a winner at random this weekend. Good luck! Cam'ron trolled everyone when he failed to deliver his Ghetto Heaven Vol.1 mixtape on July 4 as promised. However the project will see the light of day later this year, and proof can be heard on Cam's new track "Welcome To My World." The Harlem veteran invites listeners into his domain on a gritty cut that dons very street savvy rhymes. He even attempts to sing at one point over the sinister production so you know it's real. This release follows another tune Killa debuted last July called "T.A.L.A.M." Both could appear on Ghetto Heaven Vol. 1 when it releases October. We're used to 2 Chainz being a fixture in news because of the hits he's created, but such hasn't been the case on the road to releasing B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time. Rather, the Def Jam rapper's recent run-ins with the law have overshadowed his bevy of features and single. The Hair Weave Killer briefly spoke on his recent drug arrest stemming from a tour bus search in Oklahoma City in an interview with Nitecap's Peter Bailey. Declining to implicate himself or others, Chainz said, "It [arrests] takes up a lot of time and money from taxpayers who are actually entertainers." He continued, "Especially like the last time when nothing was on the bus, nothing was done." The Love & Hip Hop Atlanta cast may get two for the price of one (not really) since fan favorite, K. Michelle, left for the greener pastures of New York City to focus on her music and join the show's northern interpretation. Who will replace her you ask? According to StraightFromTheA, Waka Flocka Flame and his fiancée Tammy Rivera will join a motley crew that already includes Young Scrappy, Stevie J, Mimi Faust, Erica Dixon, Joseline Hernandez and more. This move may be very surprising considering the rapper's admitted disdain for how mainstream operates. (AllHipHop News) The quarrel between Justin Timberlake and Kanye West appears to be over. During an interview with Sway Calloway’s Shade 45 radio show, Timberlake says he had an hour-long talk with Kanye at MTV’s Video Music Awards, and the two superstars settled their issues over Ye’s comments about JT’s song “Suit & Tie.” Back in February, Kanye expressed that he was not a fan of the single during a performance in London telling the crowd, “I got love for Hov, but I ain’t f*cking with that ‘Suit & Tie’.” Justin shot back during his Saturday Night Live stint in March changing the hit record’s lyrics to: “My hit’s so sick got rappers acting dramatic.” (AllHipHop News) Superproducer Timbaland played a significant role in two of the biggest albums of the year with Justin Timberlake’s The 20/20 Experience and Jay Z’sMagna Carta Holy Grail. Now, the Virginia native claims his next project will be with the King Of Pop Michael Jackson. In a recent interview, Timbaland said that he spoke with Epic Records C.E.O. L.A. Reid about producing tracks featuring vocals from the late icon. “To even go bigger would be two kings working together,” says Tim. “I can tell you the first single gonna be the song ‘Chicago’, but I’m gonna set it up right.” Micheal Jackson last official LP was 2001′s Invincible. Epic released the Michael Jackson’s This Is It soundtrack album in 2009 which included previously released music as well as unreleased songs. Watch Timbaland discuss producing for MJ in the clip below. |
