Literally days after it was reported that Future & Ciara were no longer an item, Nayvadius Cash took to Instagram to reveal a new single titled "Monster," with a caption that reads: "August 18th #MONSTER freebandz.com" According to this BuzzFeed article, after the split with Ciara, Future headed to the studio to work on new material. Reports state that he's planning on releasing a new mixtape titled EVOL (LOVE spelled backwards) and will be released later this Fall on iTunes. Pronounced like evil, that’s “love spelled backwards,” the friend explained, suggesting that the forthcoming songs are not specifically about falling out of love, but rather about the unexpected forms love can take. “Future has a weird way to love. You might see it’s not all the way right, but it’s still love. It’s not traditional love.” Powered by the hit single "2 On" with ScHoolboy Q, the Los Angeles single reveals this elaborate trailer to announce the release date of her debut album Aquarius, October 7th. The next single from the album, the A$AP Rocky-featured "Pretend," is slated to drop later this month.
Tinashe was recently featured on DJ Mustard's debut album, 10 Summers, as well. After being called out by his tour partner Wayne last week, Drake decided to participate in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge... while on stage during their Pittsburgh stop. After releasing the poignant "Be Free" shortly before the weekend, J. Cole headed to the Missouri town this past weekend to participate in the Mike Brown protests, and to pay his respects to the fallen victim.
On August 25th Ty$ will return to his mixtape roots with a new project, the aptly-title$ign Language. While there, at the moment, is no tracklisting or word of any guest features, fans can guess that the usual suspects - namely, fellow Pu$haz Ink labelmatesYG and DJ Mustard and his Taylor Gang brethren Wiz Khalifa - will be among the contributors to he project.
