J. Cole is poised to spend the entire year on the road, and nothing is wrong with that. After announcing the first leg of his upcoming Forest Hills Drive Tour, late last night he announced that he will take the show overseas with Jhené Aiko and Pusha T. Now he has announced that the third act will return stateside, and for them he's bringing out some pretty hefty guns: Big Sean, YG, and Jeremih.
It's official, Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao will finally square off at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on May 2nd.
"I am glad my decision to meet with Manny and discuss making this fight happen helped get the deal done," Mayweather said, referring to a chance Jan. 27 meeting with Pacquiao at a Miami Heat game followed by a private meeting after the game. "Giving the fans what they want to see is always my main focus. This will be the biggest event in the history of the sport. Boxing fans and sports fans around the world will witness greatness on May 2. I am the best ever, TBE, and this fight will be another opportunity to showcase my skills and do what I do best, which is win. Manny is going to try to do what 47 before him failed to do, but he won't be successful. He will be number 48." "I am very happy that Floyd Mayweather and I can give the fans the fight they have wanted for so many years," Pacquiao said. "They have waited long enough and they deserve it. It is an honor to be part of this historic event. I dedicate this fight to all the fans who willed this fight to happen and, as always, to bring glory to the Philippines and my fellow Filipinos around the world." Now the question is.... who do y'all got!? A few weeks ago J. Cole announced that he, alongside fellow Dreamvillains Cozz, Bas, and Omen, will hit the road for the first act of his Forest Hills Drive Tour. Earlier tonight (or, late last night, depending on the time you read this) Grown Simba formally announced the second act, a European leg with special guests Jhené Aikoand Pusha T. The annual Wireless Festival is going down this summer at Finsbury Park in London, and the headliners have been officially revealed.
Making up for last year's cancellation, Drake will take the stage on Friday, July 3rd; while Kendrick Lamar, Nicki Minaj and EDM allstars Aviccii and David Guetta will hold the fort down the following two days. Other acts to perform include Childish Gambino, Joey Bada$$, August Alsina, Logic and more. With the likes of Disclosure and Sam Smith tapped as headliners, Nas, Vic Mensa, and the Wu-Tang Clan will participate in the inaugural Wildlife Festival. Going down June 6th and 7th, the weekend-long festival will take place at the Brighton City Airport. Seriously, they're taking over an airport (well, a former airport; planes stopped flying out of there in 2013) for a music festival? If only people would dare to do that in the States. Oh well, I guess we'll just have to rely on a man-made island (Governors Ball), a farm (Bonnaroo), and a dust storm-happy desert in the middle of California (Coachella) instead.

Tha Carter IV, meanwhile, sold much more, debuting at number one with an astounding 964,000 copies sold just two years prior. Great news hip hop heads.
