Rick Ross has revealed that he will release two albums in the next months, giving fans a lot to look forward to this summer. The Biggest Boss said the formal announcement and title of his projects will be unveiled very soon in a recent cover story with HotNewHipHop. He also talked about going indie after leaving Epic Records, saying that despite not having a huge label behind him, he is still in demand. “I got huge offers on the table right now. Huge huge offers. Conversation with Def Jam. Everybody,” Ross shared. “Everybody wants to be in business with Ricky Rozay. They know I make the best music when Ricky Rozay wants to make music. It's simple for me to organize massive cooperation. When I want huge collaborations it’s easy. I don’t even gotta text n****s. I can have my homies DM a n***a.” Richer Than I Ever Been was his final album with Epic, and it was released in December 2021. Willie Falcon, The-Dream, Benny the Butcher, Wale, Future, DreamDoll, Yungeen Ace, Major Nine, Blxst, Jazmine Sullivan, 21 Savage, and Wiz Khalifa all made appearances on the 12-track album, which peaked at No. 10 on the US Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
